For memory you have a choice of 'Private Bytes', 'Virtual Bytes' or 'Working Set' depending on your needs. Use Google to find out what each one mean.

Hope this helps.
I want to monitor the CPU usage and Memory usage of a particular process running in the system. For that which all counter I should add..

Thanks,
Stay tuned, I'll get there eventually!

New Post: wildcards?

how about adding the ability to use wildcards when selecting a counter? or the ability to select all instances (like in perfmon) of a counter object for monitoring.

example: I would like to create a qpmset that I can quickly load to monitor all relevant counters on a sql server. Our systems may have multiple instances, as well as different logical disks. Having useable wildcards and the <all instances>
selection ability would make it easy to create a default qpmset that covers all SQL instances regardless of instance name as well as all logical drives.

Thanks!

However, the MSI is the preferred way to install the application as it does a whole lot of other things to set up things for you (e.g. register the qpmset files, check .Net dependencies etc.)

New Post: Could you provide simple archive version as before v1.7

Hi,

You introduced msi installer with version 1.7. I find that very inconvenient as my company don't allow developers to install software on our machines.

I also thinks that for a little tool like QPerfMon, an installer is overkill but that's just my opinion.

Could you provide a simple zip like you did before?

Regards

Just hold on a little bit longer until I get around to implement this. Of course, 'playing' back those 'values' in the csv file is also something I would like to implement but not sure how I will implement that.

does qperfmon support to write the values to a file (csv for example)
If not: Do you plan to integrate this.

What we want to do is monitoring the performance counters offline on an machine which is used in industrial environment at our customer.
If our program does not work anymore for any reason they turn off and on the computer. Then all data is lost.
