how about adding the ability to use wildcards when selecting a counter?  or the ability to select all instances (like in perfmon) of a counter object for monitoring.

example:  I would like to create a qpmset that I can quickly load to monitor all relevant counters on a sql server.  Our systems may have multiple instances, as well as different logical disks.  Having useable wildcards and the <all instances> selection ability would make it easy to create a default qpmset that covers all SQL instances regardless of instance name as well as all logical drives.

Eish, it is one of those things I've been wishing for myself :) Just haven't got around to actually implement it... Stay tuned, I'll get there eventually!

You'll be happy to note that the latest version now has the ability to add multiple counters and instances at the same time.
